Tourism has always been a passion and a profession to me. It all started when my German mother met my father while she was on holiday in Rimini, on the Adriatic Coast: I am the result of that love born on vacation, so we can say that tourism is in my DNA! I have always loved to travel, to discover new places and cultures. I started my career as animator in tourist resorts all over the world, then I became tour leader and finally I landed to work in tourism promotion over 20 years ago. It’s a very gratifying work, trying to boost tourism in the region where I was born and grown up. I am aware that there are a lot of amazing things to see, taste, experience, enjoy and I am happy to share this knowledge to anyone who is curious to learn more about Emilia Romagna.

Guide and Tour Leader
I speak English, French, Spanish and some Portuguese. I graduated in Natural Sciences and I’ve been working in Regional Parks for over 15 years accompanying schools and tourists to discover the beauty of nature around Parma. In the last 9 years I specialized in “gourmet tours” showing how the best products of the Food Valley are made. I’ve been hosting US students from Boston College since 2007 and always taught them typical Italian food. One thing that fully gratifies me is to invite people for dinner and try my hand at new dishes. Almost by chance and with great satisfaction, I succeeded in turning this passion into an activity. I teach classes of Italian cuisine mainly for foreigners. In an ancient family home on the hills south of Parma I have found the ideal location to realize the small but not simple alchemy to work while amusing myself and other people.
