Sandro Pertini Airport is located 16 km/10 miles from the city center.

Marco Polo Airport is located 12 km/7.4 miles north of Venezia.
By Bus: ACTV city bus No. 5 to Venice (Piazzale Roma) runs every 30 minutes weekdays and Saturday from 06:35-20:35 and every hour after 21:35. Sunday and public holidays runs every hour from 07:05-20:05. City bus No. 15 also operates a service to Mestre railway station. There is also AIR SERVICE to Padua and Vicenza.
By Water Bus: ALILAGUNA operate a service to St. Mark’s, stopping briefly at Murano and Lido (the local beach resort) before reaching Venice. The last water bus leaves Marco Polo Airport just before midnight.
Private transport: Arrangements can be made for a local escort to meet you inside the airport terminal, take you to a reserved private water taxi and accompany you to your destination in Venice. The cost is ¬155 for up to 6 people sharing. Beware of water taxi drivers touting for business inside the airport hall, sometimes they can charge you astronomical prices especially if you are foreigner.
