Punta della Dogana

Venezia - From June 6th, 2009


The magnificent area of Punta della Dogana is now open to the public. Overlooking the lagoon, this dependence of Palazzo Grassi for contemporary art and former industrial building from the XVII century is rich in history and set in a magical place that has been masterfully restored and maintains its historic integrity. Punta Dogana, together with Palazzo Grassi, is a large new   museum that enhances  Venice cultural offer with the creation of the most incredible  "Art Mile" along the Grand Canal.



Cinemambiente Film Festival

Torino - October 8th - October 13th, 2009   


Cineambiente Film Festival aims to promote and support the theme of the environment through   the   language of film. Cinematography, comics, documentaries, environmental   investigations are employed   to encourage  reflection and to develop a   conscious behavior regarding the preservation of land and its ecosystem. The   festival also publishes books on the relation between cinema and the environment   as well   as exhibitions on famous documentary   film-makers.


Mantova - September 17th - December 18th, 2009

Tazio Nuvolari was a man that really lived for racing. Neither bad equipment nor wounds from his uncountable crashes could keep him from driving flat out. Known to the Italians fans as the "Flying Mantuan" or the "Great Little Man", Nuvolari was just 160 cm tall and he soon found out that he did not have the muscular strength to force the cars around the corners with the steering wheel. So instead he developed a technique where he put his car into a four wheel slide and then controlled the slide with the throttle.


Ibla Buskers Festival

Ragusa - October 7th - October 11th, 2009   


With its glamour and history, the historical center of Ragusa  transforms its typical southern Sicilian baroque soul in a stage for acrobats, jugglers, musicians, tightrope walkers, and fakirs, who meet here for the 15th edition of the International Festival of Streets Performers. These shows that involve worldwide performers, can be enjoyed by children and adults of all ages all day long.
