On February 8, 2010 the Italian Government Tourist Board held a presentation at their North America headquarters in New York on the Sferisterio Opera Festival in Macerata which is located in the region of Le Marche. The Arena Sferisterio is well known to American opera enthusiasts. The President of the Macerata Province and the CEO of the Agency for promotion of the Sferisterio, presented  the Opera Festival 2010 to a large number of guests, which included tour operators and journalists.  www.sferisterio.it

In addition, the event included a presentation of an  originally designed turntable musical instrument which gives even more value to the great acoustic of the Arena Sferisterio.

 "Tuneable" turntable

New construction philosophy.

     www.horomusic.com

A tuneable turntable produced with the forms and material of the lute-maker.

There's the atmosphere, there are your records, there's your life.

The arm is made from a violin bow and the platter is constructed like a musical instrument. Together they recreate the original sound conditions, the vibrations as they were when they were performed.

A unique experience that evokes the simple and pure emotions of live music. Every single turntable is unique and expresses all the personality and the values of a precious object: a work of passion for music and master craftsmanship.
